Chord Overstreet - be sure to check him out on the show "The Middle" on Wednesday night 9/28/2011 on ABC. Check your local tv for times/listings as we are in central time. Chord played the character of "Sam" last season in the hit tv show GLEE and since leaving the show you will probably see and hear alot more of him. He will be working on a new album soon I hear as well. Be sure to watch him on ABC tomorrow night and we will try to update news in future on new album.

The Country Music Trail, Vancleave’s Paul Overstreet became Jackson County’s first marker recipient at a ceremony Tuesday.

The trail markers, researched and placed by the Mississippi Development Authority, were first unveiled in 2010 and have honored such musical pioneers as Conway Twitty, Faith Hill, Jimmie Rodgers and Marty Stuart.

Overstreet earned his marker with a career of more than 30 years both recording his own songs and writing several big hits for the likes of George Jones, Randy Travis and The Judds and kenny chesney.

You may have noticed Paul's website looks slightly different since the recent upgrades that took effect January 2, 2011. Please feel free to browse around and learn where everything is. The shopping cart is easy to use and hasn't changed alot, but where things are located are slightly different.:) The Store has Reopened since the holidays and business as usual , so feel free to place orders. We still have a special on "Forever & Ever Amen" for $7.00 and the 2 demo cds for $20 running for a limited time.

In upcoming days ahead we hope to have new more recent photos of Paul on his website. We're in process of updating some pictures as well. As soon as we have any 2011 dates from Paul we will also post those for any shows he has open to the public this year.

Most of you have seen the news, but if you are not aware, on May 1st & 2nd , we had a major flood - total devistation hit Tennessee , destroying homes, offices,automobiles, planes, personal belongings and even killed many people in the South. The flooding was terrible in Nashville and surrounding counties. Our offices were destroyed in the flood as we are located on a river, and Pauls home was also damaged. Many people in the area have lost their homes and in some cases, family or friends.

We will miss our office, but we are NOT gone and we ARE still in business and trying to operate as usual (or the best we can under the circumstances). Our office is temporarily relocated but the PO Box is the same. PO BOX 320, Pegram TN 37143. Our phone is also the same (615) 952-3999 but being forwarded to another phone line for the time being. Most of the cds were destroyed and under water, but we do not know at this point how much, if any product may have not been damaged. Until we find out, we cannot sell any cds online, but please continue to download Paul Overstreet's music electronically in MP3 format online.

New Album Coming out of My Favorite Demos.. Look for it!!

Hi everyone! Working on an album of my favorite demos I've written and recorded. These are all new songs that have not been recorded, so you will not have heard these before . The cd has just been mastered and is about to go to duplication so it should be ready for sale on the website by June 2010. Be sure to look for it . I haven't named it yet, but you'll see an annoucement on the website when its released! So keep watching www.pauloverstreet.com in the next couple of months ....

Currently I've been busy in the studio working on new songs I've written. I spend most of my time writing music. I also have spent some time this past year on re-recording and re-mixing some old favorite songs, and at some point I will also be releasing those again on the website too.

I'm in the Caymans right now relaxing, but look to hear from me soon. Hope everyones doing well.

Oct, 5TH in Biloxi. We play golf the morning of the 5th, which is part of the fund raiser. Anybody can enter the Golf tournament. It's all for raising money for St. Judes. We finish up in the afternoon and then we do a songwriters show that evening at the Hard Rock. It's an unplugged acoustic set, Usually around 7:30 or so.

This year we have a group of about eight or ten songwriters that will perform their hit songs. 1. Even Stevens, DRIVING MY LIFE AWAY, STEP BY STEP, WHEN YOU'RE IN LOVE WITH A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, I LOVE A RAINY NIGHT AND MANY OF THE EDDIE RABBITT SONGS. 2. Jim Collins, EVERYBODY WANTS TO GO TO HEAVEN, YES, BIG YELLOW TRACTOR, Etc. Leslie Satcher, POLITICALLY UNCORECT, OLD TROUBADORE, WHEN GOD FEARING WOMEN GET THE BLUES and many more. Lee Roy Parnell, HOLDING MY OWN, THAT'S MY STORY AND I'M STICKING TO IT, ON THE ROAD, TENDER MOMENT. Sherrie Austin, actress and songwriter, JOLENE, STREETS OF HEAVEN, LUCKY IN LOVE, ONE SOLITARY TEAR, (GOOGLE THIS GIRL). Wood Newton, PRIVATE MALONE, IT'S WHAT I DIDN'T DO, DADDY WENT TO HEAVEN IN A PICKUP TRUCK.etc. Scotty Emerick, I LOVE THIS BAR, BEER FOR MY HORSES, I CAN'T TAKE YOU ANYWHERE, LOVE ME LIKE MY DOG, A LOT OF TOBY KEITH HITS and Myself.. Lot's of hit songs between all these writers. It's a fun event, Come down to Biloxi and help us raise money for St. Judes.!

I'm in the Cayman Island relaxing..

.... I'm in the Cayman Islands working on some songs and trying to catch up on some of the bits and pieces of songs I get started and don't, for some reason find the time to finish when I'm home. So much to do there. I just got a call from Barefoot man and he's going to come over this weekend and we're going to sit around and play a couple songs together. What fun! Last time I was here, i went to his house and he cooked lobster that he caught and a beer, sat by the ocean and told each other our different viewpoint's on religion, politics etc. It was a blast. I'm watching the news on the tube and seeing the different ways that America spins the attack on Healthcare. It's very different coming from those outside of the US. This Island has a large population of Canadians and I've asked them about their healthcare, and how they like it? It's interesting to get different peoples takes on things like that.
